Denim On Denim With A Twist
Denim on denim trend is having a huge moment right now. I’ve seen absolutely everything and everyone wearing the denim on denim trend. bags, shoes, boots, jeans, hats, and jackets, you name it, are made with denim these days. I wrote about it in a previous blog post of some styles you could shop, but am doing this Denim post again because I love denim on denim look and even though it's casual, it still has a sense of style to it.
The past few weeks have been sooo busy. I’ve been literally running around trying to tidy all lose ends before the launch of my clothing line in a few months time. It's so tempting to wear the same outfit every single day. I’ve probably worn the same pair of jeans five times in the last week. I’m trying to stay comfy especially because it’s been so cold in London, but also look put-together, so that means jeans and bold tops.
I love statement t-shirts like this one I designed (FASHION BLOGGER), which will also be sold on my online store soon. Statement t-shirts can be dressed up or down either with heels, flats, or a pair of snickers. They can make a casual outfit look a bit dressier, while still being comfy.
It’s just the easiest, most versatile thing you can wear. Then of course there’s the denim-on-denim days, like today. Dark blue jeans are my go-to, and this pair from NEXT is one of my favourite even though am not so much of a jeans person. (similar pairs here and here)l. I have added a pop of colour to this denim on denim look by wearing a red Moschino bag. Which is now sold out. (Shop similar here). Also am wearing a Saint Laurent sandals which unfortunately cannot be seen because of the length of my jeans , but oh well!
This for me is the easiest way to dress up a denim on denim look while not having to sacrifice comfort. Am sure you guys have seen a lot of fashion bloggers wearing this in London recently.
