All Black Everything + Colour
Black is the most versatile colour for every season. We wear black all year long for night outs, dinner parties, during award seasons, I could go on and on. In all my years of being a stylist I can rightly say that some people have more blacks in their wardrobe than any other colour. It's a safe haven for a lot of women in regards to dressing up. There is nothing wrong in wearing an all black outfit but it will be more stylish if we are able to add a touch of colour to our outfits. Like I always say, colour affects our mood and appearance. With the star-studded awards season in full swing, it's certain that a lot of us including celebs will be wearing an all black outfit. In recent weeks,we have seen celebrities such as Kim Kardashian West, Lady Gaga, and some fashion bloggers in London took the plunge in iridescent, jaw-dropping black gowns, somehow managing to avoid an embarrassing #NipSlip disaster from their see through dresses and tops including myself. An all black ensemble is a look with serious sex appeal that can be pulled off by anyone. Adding a touch of colour to that look in the form of accessories is a task that can only be pulled off by the stylish, not just the fashionable. A black ensemble with a bold jacket is a great way to camouflage your not-so-best asset. The main focus will be on the bold piece and everything else will diminish!” When it comes to fashion, certain colours have definitive longevity. Black and white will always be classic, red is glam, and navy evokes sophistication. Here I have paired my all black outfit with a blue fur cape coat, and a beaded clutch which I have worn so many times on this site. Purses with versatility are always a plus, because you can wear them over and over again with different outfits. Why choose one colour, when you can rock them all?..
