Black Wrap Top + Red Mini Skirt In London

IVY EKONG BLOG

I'm a fan of wrap top but not mini skirts. This year I am embracing all of me, flaws or not. One of the things I have resolved to do this year is to try new things and be adventurous. I have always felt a bit insecure about my legs, which is totally crazy because everyone except me thinks I'm perfect! So I'm embracing all my perfections and imperfections, and will be trying out pieces which I wouldn't usually wear.

I'm embracing something old and new in this outfit. Although I have previously worn this wrap top in so many other ensembles, it's still pretty fabulous and new to me. Wrap tops are perfect as they go with pretty much anything. I also love how they can hide every bumps and folds around your waist area that you don't want to show off. I love wearing wrap tops because, I can eat as much as I want without my bulging tummy showing. How amazing is that! Why haven't I wore my outfits like this in my life. Wrap tops and latex skirts are a big trend. I saw a few on the runway last year. The top didn't come as an off shoulder , but  you can wear it both ways. I decided to pull it off the shoulder a little bit even though I was freezing cold. I paired my wrap top with a mini latex red skirt and a red Kurt geiger bond heels (similar here). You can find a similar wrap top here. If you're not into mini skirts, you can ensemble a similar look with a pair of jeans or a skirt with a longer length. My bag is a vintage Christian Dior bag and you can find a similar one here. Other post you may find interesting here, here, and here  Till my next post stay fabulous. X
